• I have installed CleanTalk antispam plugin (licensed) in several sites and it has disabled itself from all 3 on more then one occasion now. This is very troubling as the sites then get flooded with spam and I have to waste time logging in and enabling it!!! Last time it did it I think it was because I did not update the plugin – however I am unsure,

Surely you don’t have routines built into your licensed plugin to disable itself?

Surely if you do – you would notify the registered email of this action?

Please please tell me how do I stop your plugin ever disabling itself again?

    thanks

  • Hello, @wpuser007007.

The CleanTalk plugin doesn’t have such option and is not supposed to be disabled by itself.

We need more details about it. Please, send us your webserver logs if you have any errors regarding CleanTalk:
    [email protected]

We will investigate possible reasons of this and write back to you in 1-2 work days.

    Please, wait.

    Hi,

I can’t find any errors in the logs relating to cleantalk. One other observation i have noted is that all the installations i have are all preventing users from using VPN connections. So if you use a VPN (which is a huge number of legitimate visitors) then you will be classified as spam and can not register, shop, or make comments.

Please help as when I do enable it, it cripples my sites.

    thanks
