Why does my screen look different from tutorial screen?

Hi. I’m trying to build my site with Astra and a template and I’m watching a how-to video, trying to get started. So far I have made no progress. The instructor in video is going to insert his logo so he clicks on the pencil in the upper right of the blank logo space. When he does, a little blank logo appears on the left-hand sidebar and from there he can import a logo from his computer and he goes on to do that. But when I click on the pencil in upper right of the blank logo I do not get that second blank logo on left-hand sidebar and therefore don’t see how to import my logo. Does anyone know why my screen is different and I’m not getting that blank logo on sidebar? Thank you! (It’s not really blank, it has a big N in the middle and is surrounded by two leafy branches like parentheses.)
