• I am using a header image and have the header height set to show the picture the way I want, but when I view it on different computers, the header either gets wider, showing more of the photo than I want, or it gets narrower, cutting off too much of the photo. Is there a way to make this consistant from computer to computer and screen size to screen size?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello, you can try to do the following in order to replace default theme header image feature with SiteOrigin Image widget.

    1. Go to Appearance → Customize → Header area → Header type section and select No header (only menu) for Site header type.

    2. Edit a page that should contain header image and set Front Page template for it.

    3. Add a new first row and put SiteOrigin Image widget with desired image there.

    4. Edit that row, expand Layout section on the right side, and select Full Width Stretched for Row Layout.

    5. Edit that widget and check Full Width checkbox at the bottom.

    Kind Regards, Roman.

I don’t see the SiteOrigin Image widget anywhere. Is it in WP widgets, Elementor, Customize? I don’t get that option. Thanks!

Hello, you should have Page Builder by SiteOrigin and SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle plugins installed and activated in order to use that widget. Please check Sydney theme documentation if you haven’t done it already:

We have created this site using Elementor and Customize in Sydney…will Page Builder conflict with either?

Well, I’m not sure. You can try it after creating a site backup. Also you might want to check this tutorial:
