Hello @static1635
Could you please provide more information on how you have set things up, as well as a live URL for the website? I just tested sticky posts and they worked exactly as expected for me.
Thanks.

So this is a list of posts in a category:

I have stuck the “about” to the top using a “post type order” plugin
Hi @static1635
Hm, could you please set it up as standard sticky posts and not using this specific plugin? I’d like to see if the “sticky” class gets added to one of these posts, as that is the main differentiator for sticky posts (besides some logic behind the scenes).
Thanks.
Hi @static1635
Scratch that, please. I had a misunderstanding and I apologise.
OK, so I have tested sticky posts in multiple scenarios now. It looks like sticky posts on category archive pages do not work by default, as per WordPress’ implementation. This means that no matter which theme is used, sticky posts won’t appear at the top on category archive pages.
Unfortunately, this is a limitation that we cannot control from our end and must be addressed with WordPress’ developers, if any concerns arise about it.
Hope this clears things up!
Thanks.
