Why Mailchimp js being loaded?

    Just ran a test on gtmetrix

    Not using mailchimp at all but “plugins/ocean-extra/includes/widgets/js/mailchimp.min.js?ver=5.8” is being loaded.

    Any reasons why, and how can i disable the loading of it?

    Comments appreciated.

    Hello @relync,

    Thanks for reaching out.

    By default, all scripts for WordPress widgets that come with Ocean Extra had their properties loaded.

    We are currently working on improvements, and with the next update all scripts for widgets will load only when widgets in use.

    If you do not wish to wait for the update, I can send you the link with the modified Ocean Extra zip file to download and replace the files of the existing one. Please note, if you never performed something like this on your own, perhaps the best option would be to wait for the official release.
