Why SG Optimizer? (When there are other caching plugins)

    Hi,

    I recently moved to SiteGround, and saw that they are owner of this cache plugin.

    I was using another caching plugin, and I was happy. So what can SG Optimizer provides, that other plugins can’t ? What is the benefit?.

    IMHO if you use SG hosting the performance results with their own plugin get the most from the server cache system, as memcached and dynamic cache.

    Of course, you can use it in combination with other cache plugins (Cache Enabler – without minimization works fine with SG optimizer because add the WP object cache handler in a very efficient way) 😉

    Our plugin utilises most of the hosting environment to provide the fastest caching and optimization solution in general. For example, we store our Dynamic Cache in the server RAM instead of a simple file on the disk and use NGINX as a reverse proxy. There’s no other plugin that can match this speed on our infrastructure!
