Dear, now i’m facing a big problem, once any new user trying to register, all the required fields are not really active, which means even if he didn’t filled them, the application will be processed to the next step, not stopping and asking him to enter all the mandatory fields… can u please help me to solve this problem. Thanks.

Make sure that “required” is checked for the fields in the WP-Members Fields tab.

If it is, the next question would be is this the WP-Members registration form? Or are you using another process for registration? Do you have a link to your site?

@aztattoogeek – I took a look at your form and it’s working fine. I was not able to register without completing every required field.

That is interesting considering over the last week I have had about thirty spam users register missing various parts of the forms from names, to why they want to join, to bios and it is not logging any IP information on them.

I am looking to stop this from happening since I want valid people to be able to register, not spam bots.

A quick look at your wp-login.php shows that your WP settings are set to allow anyone to register which opens you up to spam. Turning that setting off would be a good start.

I installed a geo blocker, my spam issues have disappeared.
