as your current theme is behind a membership wall (and therefore not free), please contact the theme’s source for support.
you can disable comments generally from within the dasboard:
dashboard – settings – discussion
any changes there will only have effect on anything posted after the changes.
or for individual posts/pages under:
dashboard – posts – all posts – click ‘quickedit’ below the post name – un-tick ‘allow comments’
(the same for pages)
it’s all untick and yet the comments on posts of those photos remain there!
