    Hi,

    This is a fantastic Plugin, It absolutly hits the nail on the head for what I have been looking for for years – one question though. I would like to put a widget on the homepage with a random player, with the player pic and a few detail, is this possible with an HTML widget and a shortcode?

    Hi oderuyter,
    As you’ve discovered, shortocdes don’t work in sidebars (text widgets) by default. But there’s a simple change you can add to your theme’s functions.php to enable them. See this article for example. There are also some plugins that will do this for you. I’d edit the functions file myself. It’s only a couple of lines.
