Widget all converted to permenent display – no conditionality

I use the standard wordpress widgets to display in the right hand column. I display widgets conditionally basesd on TAG or CATEGORY settings per page.

Yesterday or today it seems that every widget has been changed and they now all display every time on every page with no conditionally available.

i am using Latest Jetpack and php 8.3

i see the problem here where i can no longer change conditionality https://the5krunner.com/wp-admin/widgets.php

this wp-admin page looks different and now seems to have gutenberg blocks which were not there whenever i last looked.

(I note that updating jetpack last night also permanently changed my stats, so some behind the scenes changes may have been made then by whatever your code changed to)
