Widget Appearace doesn't appear the same on website

When I look at my website the sign up widget doesn’t look the same as the widget I’m creating in form designer. The background color where a person would typed their info to submit is defaulting to a color only slightly different than the widget background instead of white. It is very awkward looking and hard to read. I can’t figure out how to get it changed.
