    Hey there,

    I’m using recent posts widgets for several months now I had a problem with it. That is the background color of the first sidebar widget is not able to change. Can you please help me to change this/

    Thank you for reaching out.
    I’m not sure what the problem is. I can see on your website one widget generate from Recent Posts Widget With Thumbnails (but without thumbnails). The background color is blue, which comes from your CSS

    .sidebar .widget:first-child{
        background-color: #83b0de;
        color: #fff;
    }

    So, can you please explain more in detail what the problem is?!

    No, if I remove the widget from the recent post-thumbnail it looks blank but if I place the widget its background changes to blue.

    Excuse me, but I do not understand your initial problem.
    I have to ask you once more to explain what the problem is and to add step by step so, I can reproduce it. Thanks!
