Widget block editor not available!

    I am running WordPress 5.8 with Blocksy theme on my local. I am able to use all the new 5.8 features, such as query loop, list view and so on, except for Widget edit! What I see on the Appearance > Widget is like the older version of WordPress–grayed boxed with no option to add blocks to the Widget. Can anyone please let me know what setting that I may be missing?
