    Dear Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am currently trying to set up widgets via Appearance > Customize > Widgets, but I encountered the following message:

“Your theme has 17 widget areas, but this particular page does not display them.
You can navigate to other pages on your site while using the Customizer to view and edit the widgets displayed on those pages.”

I have found that the issue disappears when I disable WP-Optimize.

While I know I can edit widgets under Appearance > Widgets in the dashboard, it doesn’t provide a real-time preview of the changes. And editing widgets in Appearance > Widgets does not allow me to schedule changes like in Appearance > Customize > Widgets. I am unable to use the scheduling feature in the Customizer to automatically update the Widgets.

Could you please advise me on how to restore the ability to configure widgets directly from the Customize panel?

    Thank you for your assistance.

    Best regards,

Have you got caching for logged in users activated, if so can you deactivate this?

    Thank you for your response.

Could you please guide me on how to check and disable this setting? I only see the option “Serve cached pages to logged in users” under Cache > Page cache, and it is currently disabled.

Is there anything else I should check?

It sounds like you do not have the option for caching for logged in users activated.

If you deactivate WPO does the issue persist?

Can you try turning minify off, does this make a difference: https://snipboard.io/QwpgvA.jpg

I followed the instructions in the image and disabled the “Process HTML (works only when cache pre-loading)” option, but the issue remains unresolved.

When I go to Appearance > Customize > Widgets, I still see the message:
“Your theme has 17 widget areas, but this particular page does not display them. You can navigate to other pages on your site while using the Customizer to view and edit the widgets displayed on those pages.”

Please let me know if there are any other steps I should try.

    Hi

    Are you referring to this?

    https://snipboard.io/Ucsa5D.jpg

This is without WPO installed so I don’t think this might be more of issue for theme developers.

    Dear WP-Optimize Support,

I wanted to follow up regarding my issue with the Appearance > Customize > Widgets section. I did not experience the issue shown in your screenshot.

When I click on Appearance > Customize > Widgets, I am unable to edit the widgets, as shown in this screenshot: https://snipboard.io/7YPf1q.jpg.

However, after deactivating WP-Optimize, I am able to edit the widgets without any issues, as shown here: https://snipboard.io/lRpqgV.jpg.

Could you please look into this?

    Hi,

    I have installed your theme

I have activated various settings in WPO: https://snipboard.io/p5UNoy.jpg

I have gone to appearance >> customise >> widgets and I see the widgets do load for me: https://snipboard.io/Sv5oQw.jpg

The issue is not actually that the widgets are not loading, it looks like different number are being recognised as active on the page

When you navigate to other pages in your site through the customizer does the number of widgets active on the page change?

I am assuming your are looking at the home page for both of those screenshots that you provided?

You will also want to turn off the merging of JS and CSS in Minify >> Javascript and Minify CSS. Your site support http2 so it will be slowing it down.

It may also help with your current issue.

    Hi,

I have followed your screenshot settings and disabled the merging of JS and CSS.

Yes, the screenshots I provided were taken from the homepage. However, even when I switch to a page that does not have any widgets applied, I still see the same issue.

Regarding HTTP/2, you are correct. When WPO is deactivated, I need to wait around three seconds for the widgets to appear in Appearance > Customize > Widgets. However, when WPO is enabled, the widgets never appear, no matter how long I wait.

Let me know if you need any additional details.

    Best regards,
