Don’t know why but this widget does not show up on my widgets page unless it has a completely different name.

What I’m saying is, after activating the plug-in, it isn’t in the widgets section.

Is there no widget with the name ‘Recent Posts, With Thumbnails’?

I could not reconstruct your case. All WP-installations are showing the widget on the Widge page, and I have no idea what the reason of your case could be. Sorry, I can not help you now.
