Thanks for reaching out @mhetrick, and sharing the checks you already performed on this. Based on the error you’re reporting differing to the known issue reported by multiple users, since addressed, let’s perform some checks to see what may be happening in your case. To do so, please share the following:

    1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.
    2. When checking the Site Kit dashboard from a Chrome browser incognito window does the same occur? If so, please share any browser console errors that appear.  This can help indicate a browser extension related block.
    3. Has this just started to occur for you recently, with the plugin working as expected previously?

Let me know if you have any questions with the above. Thank you.

Submitted form. Check incognito and error still persists. Yes this is something new with the plugin.

Thanks for sharing the additional insights @mhetrick. Given the same occurs from a Chrome browser incognito window, please share the following:

    1. A screen recording of your experience. You can use a service such as Loom to share a screen recording, while using the same form previously used to share this privately. When sharing a recording, please demonstrate what you see on the Site Kit dashboard, and also any browser console errors.
    2. Does the same occur if you enable enhanced measurement not from within Site Kit, but from Google Analytics directly. Here’s a guide on how to do so. I ask as the issue you’re facing may be related to applying this configuration from within Site Kit. You’ll need to do so from within the data stream connected within Site Kit (G-2H••••••••). After doing so, please revisit and reload the Site Kit dashboard once more.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above.

Deleted and added back to site I checked our Analytics and we had Enhanced Measurements turned ON. I turned it off and reloaded and still had Google Site Kit plugin errors.

Submitted Loom video link so you can see errors

Due to the errors I’m continuing to encounter, I have reverted back to 1.148.0 until Google can resolve the issue with the plugin update. Data is working and displaying when I use this version.

Thanks for sharing the additional insights @mhetrick. From reviewing the details you shared, the following seems to occur:

There are a couple of checks we can perform next. Firstly, to rule out any third party related plugins impacting Site Kit, please perform the following:

    1. Login to your live site from a Chrome browser incognito window.
    2. Install and activate the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
    3. Navigate to “Plugins > Health Check & Troubleshooting > Troubleshoot”.
    4. From the same screen click on the “Available Plugins” tab at the top right and then click on the “Enable” option next to “Site Kit by Google“.
    5. Check for the same error once more.

If the same occurs while in troubleshooting mode, can you share if the same occurs from a different browser or device?

I’m just following up with you to check whether the error remains? If so please share the information requested above and we can investigate further.

    Hello James,
Thanks for checking back. I was able to get the plugin to work after installing the Vafpress bug fix I saw in other messages. We have a couple things from that Bootstrap Ventures on our website. The plugin is functioning correctly now.

Glad to hear it @mhetrick. Thanks for the update. Out of curiosity, are you aware of what other plugins may be using the same framework?

    (@mhetrick)

Unfortunately I don’t. Once I saw this plugin would possibly work, I applied it to our site and the Site Kit functions properly as before.

Not a problem @mhetrick, appreciate the update. If you run into any further issues, be sure to reach out and we’d be happy to help. Thank you.
