widget – form field – required attribute

    Hi,

    I make widget.
    In admin area widget have some fields to fill by website owner.
    Some time administrators leave fields empty.

    I add required attribute to <input> but it not help.
    Also I can’t to use onsubmit function for form (form tag not exist)

    How I add field checkig when admn click to “Save” button?

    Or I can add some checking after updating (and show alert())?
