Go to Wunderground.com
In the “Search Locations” box, type in your location
Click on the location when it appears in the auto-complete box
When the page loads, copy the URL. It will likely look like this: http://www.wunderground.com/q/zmw:00000.4.17340
Copy the part of the URL after the /q/. In this example, it would be zmw:00000.4.17340
Use that as your location in the shortcode, like this: [wunderground location=”zmw:00000.4.17340″ /]
That should work!
I go to Wunderground.com
I search for “san felipe, mexico” in the “Search Locations” box.
I’m not sure what you mean by the “auto-complete” box. I see two locations for San Felipe, Mexico that both are links. So I click one of “San Felipe, Mexico” text links.
The first link takes me to this page: http://www.wunderground.com/global/stations/76056.html
The other takes me to this page: http://www.wunderground.com/global/stations/76055.html
What am I doing wrong?
Well, there is also a “Recent Cities” box that has the same two links and they go to:
http://www.wunderground.com/weather-forecast/zmw:00000.1.76055
http://www.wunderground.com/weather-forecast/zmw:00000.1.76056
But still can’t find a url with a /q/ in it.
Just use the zmw:00000.1.76055 part, like so:
[wunderground location="zmw:00000.1.76055"]
It doesn’t work. It does not generate anything. I know I’m putting it in the correct sidebar. I also have tried the widget and that does nothing also. If you email me I will send you login information so you can see for yourself: trishah at trishah dot com
Try adding ?cache to the end of your URL and see if that helps.
http://www.wunderground.com/global/stations/76055.html?cache
This took me to the same page.
http://www.wunderground.com/weather-forecast/zmw:00000.1.76055?cache
This also takes me to the same page
Am I doing this wrong? If so, please show me where to use the ?cache

Hello,
I cannot get the weather underground widget to even show up at all, in my sidebar. I found the location code above and tried that. Even tried ?cache to the end of that. Please advise. I have another widget on the page now, and they want it changed to yours if I can get it working.
Thanks
I’m not sure if this will help you or not but what I finally got to work was using a widget called “Enhanced Text” and putting in the following shortcode:
[wunderground location="zmw:00000.1.76055"]
This brings up the weather in San Felipe Mexico.
