Widget Length Not Being Respected

So I went through and updated to the latest version of the plugin (4.0.7), and I’ve found this bug.

On our homepage, our upcoming list widget (right rail) show 10 events, as specified. http://www.reef2rainforest.com/

On the calendar page, for some reason it’s only showing 5 (which I think was the default)? http://www.reef2rainforest.com/events/

Now, here’s the thing – when I revereted the pluging to an EARLIER version, Version 3.9.3, this bug goes away.

Ideas?

If I switch themes, I do get the full listing of 10 items in the widget.

So something changed between 3.9.3 and 4.0.7 to create the bug I’m seeing, which is in conflict with my existing theme.

There’s a second bug in the widget as well, which seems tied to ANOTHER bug I reported, so I’ll update that separately.
