I have updated the weather pro widget and now all I’m getting is the name of the widget and a hotkey to your website.
Will you be continuing your plugin in the old format or will it just be a referral hotkey?

I find your plugin everything a website needs for weather and more but I can’t use it if it is just a referral key to your website. That’s not a plugin but a hotkey.
Please get it back to what it was. It has been a trouble-free, excellent plugin.

Hello kengray20, the problem is your server cURL configuration. You have the following error “cURL error 7: Failed to connect to eltiempoen.com port 9090 after 0 ms: Couldn’t connect to server”.
The new version of the plugin uses the WP function wp_remote_get, which internally uses cURL, to call to our API and cache the response. You can rollback to version 1.1.31 or ask your host to enable cURL in your PHP configuration.
Hello kengray20, we added a backup API call in version 1.1.35 triggered when cURL fails. Anyway, you should contact with your host provider and ask them enable cURL. Thanks for your feedback!
