Widget Settings Permission Problems

    Error: You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.

    Today I started getting the above permission error when trying to access some widget settings. I am the Admin of the site. I have access to many other widget settings. I tried creating a new user but that didn’t fix the issue. I have looked through a lot of the posts regarding this but could not find anything more recent than a year ago.

    Does anyone have any suggestions on how to remedy the situation?

    Which widgets in particular? It could be a plugin or theme that generates the widgets needs updating or is not compatible with the version of WordPress you’re running.

    I am on the most current wordpress version. I am having trouble accessing BackUpWordPress settings, Meteor Slides settings. I use quite a few plugins and these 2 were recently updated. I have access to all of my other settings.
