Hi Roland,
You can add attributes while adding the widget:
posts_per_page="50"

many thanks – but where exactly? I tried it at several places, but it still shows only 10 events.

While adding or editing the VSEL widget in dashboard there’s an input field for attributes.

Hi,
Yes, that’s the one. Does work fine over here. Guess it now uses the number of posts set in Settings > Reading (Blog pages show at most)? VSEL should override that setting.

Thanks Guido – this is it. I changed the number in Settings > Reading to 50 – now it shows all events. Thank you!

Hi,
But I don’t understand why the attribute doesn’t work over there.
Could you try without quotes:
posts_per_page=50
Some iOS users are adding the wrong type of quotes in the attribute.

ok, I tried it without quotes and lowered the number to 5 – but it still shows 50.
It only seems to work when I edit the number at “settings > reading”.

Hi,
Just did a test with the same widget as you (upcoming events) and still works fine. Attribute overrides Settings > Reading.. So maybe there’s a conflict with your theme or a plugin. Are you having the same problem when using the shortcode instead of the widget?
