    Hi Guido

    Small problem not sure why, polylang string translation for widget text not displayed defaults to main language. Widget title works ok though…

    Hi,

    Sorry for the late response.
    Don’t have experience with that plugin. You don’t have this problem with the text field of default text widget?

    Thanks for the reply..

    I am using the default text widget.

    The problem is with the information: field (Widget Text)
    The correct translated string is not being displayed for each language.

    The Title field (Widget Title) works ok

    VSCF Ver 5.7
    Polylang 2.0.5
    WP 4.6.1

    Hi Simon,

    I will install Polylang for myself tonight.

    But when I take a quick look at the plugin page I notice:

    and all default WordPress widgets are supported

    The title is a default field but the information field is not a default field. This might cause this.

    But I will keep you informed.

    Hi again,

    I have installed Polylang. Only default widgets are supported (including default fields such as widget title).
    I advice you to add multiple contact form widgets in your sidebar and select the relevant languages there. Should work.
