It seems like all the Mailpoet Widgets are not getting the traditional Widget HTML markup wrappers and classes for whatever reason. I’m running into the same issue with my Mailpoet widget. This is going to mess up a lot of sites…
Same here. They jumped the gun (again) and released it. Took me 20 mins of checking my own code before finding it was the plugin’s fault.
Dear Mailpoet,
2.5 things …
1) Calm down + test with greater scrutiny.
2) Stop smattering my admin pages with your noise every time there’s an update (I’m just not that interested).
I’ve started my own personal countdown clock. This is five (of 5~1). Once we hit zero, I’m going a different plugin route or just quick-building my own.

Hi,
I found a temporary solution. Create an HTML widget and place the Mailpoet form shortcode inside. I am still testing, but it seems to work.

A Jorge
That was my initial solution once I discovered the issue. That shut my entire site down (only output was a blank white page).
Hey everyone,
Thanks for letting us know about this issue. It’s indeed a rendering issue with the widget form in the newly released version 3.43.0.
We’re already working on a fix for it.
Sorry for the inconvenience!
Make sure it’s tolerant of output buffering while you’re at it. My site captures the buffer for minor tweaks before sending it to the client browser. Use of your shortcode or even the php option doesn’t play well with that.
Hey,
Just to let you know that this issue has been fixed today in version 3.43.1.
Thanks for your patience!
