• Hi guys, I love BackUpWordPress and it’s my number 1 choice when it comes to backup plugins.

The issue that I’m having is, whenever I backup my site and restore the backup on another domain (my test environment) it doesn’t retain the widgets or widget settings. But if I restore my backup to the same domain, the widgets and widget settings are all there.

When I restore to another domain I always follow these steps:

    1) Download the complete backup
    2) Upload the site files (except for wp-config)
    3) Open the .sql database backup file and perform a find & replace on the domain name
    4) Import the file into the database via phpmyadmin

Is there any way for me to make sure that the widgets migrate over?

This is the only data missing from my backups and I really don’t want to have to find another backup plugin, because I know that this one is the best.

    Thanks
