Please help me.
1. I am using the Simplicity Theme.
2. I turned off all Plugins.

The problem I am having is I will put something in the primary widget box and when I go to view it, it shows up but as soon as I navigate away from that page it is gone.

When I go back to the widget tag I see that it is put in the inactive widgets section. It seems to be putting it there on it’s own. Please someone help, I have spent hours trying to make this work.

There are three things to consider that could cause this to occur (in all likelihood).

1. WordPress.
2. Plugin(s).
3. Theme.

We can rule out 1 (as long as we are confident we have a proper install)
We can rule out 2 (since you have deactivated plugins).

So, we have one option left. 3, the theme.

I see multiple vendors/sources for this theme and one in the ‘lite’ form here at worpdress.org/themes.

Where did you get the Theme?

Since this is in all likelihood a theme issue, please post your issue at the theme support area at WooThemes. Since we do not have access to this theme, we cannot support it here.
