Widgets Going Crazy

Hello,

Great theme – I love it so far. However, I am having a strange issue. I have disabled all the widgets on my sidebar but for some reason Search, Archives, and Meta still show up. If I keep at least one widget active, it is the only one that shows. However, as soon as I disable all widgets, the 3 aforementioned widgets magically show up. I have even downloaded a plugin to hide widgets on certain pages and it does not work.

I’m attempting to hide all the widgets and have the main content page expand the full size of the page.

Any help is much appreciated.
