Widgets not dragging problem

I;m not sure its a 2.8 problem but after I upgraded one of my blogs, I cant drag the widgets over to the sidebars. They just dont move , the only thing that happens sometimes is loads of empty boxes appear under the already installed widgets.
Anyone have any ideas
