widgets problem WordPress 6.2
-
After updating wordpress to 6.2, all of a sudden my footer menu is gone.
When I go to widgets, i start getting bunch of errors. After searching, I found a “solution” called classic widgets…
Yeah, i don’t get the errors in widgets section anymore, but my footer still does not show up.
When I check customize and all, my footer is set to be active, in menu I can still see the links I want to show. It’s just the widget that does not want to load.
Any fix / help / solution would be appreciaed.
Thanks

Hi @geoffreylemaire,
I am sorry to hear about the trouble you are experiencing. I am happy to help out.
Yeah, i don’t get the errors in widgets section anymore, but my footer still does not show up.
Please check the footer columns setting under Customize menu > Footer > Footer Widgets > ensure the active column layout option on “Footer widgets layout” has at least one column active.
Not sure what you mean with active. But i do see footer1, footer2 and footer3. The ones I have created, which are gone now.
Hi @geoffreylemaire,
Thank you for getting back.
Can you check your current Footer Widgets Layout and share its screenshot?
For example:

hello, any update yet?
Hi @geoffreylemaire,
I am sorry for the delay.
Can you see your footer widgets through Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets? Please confirm.
If they are unseen in there, perhaps you would need to re-add them one-by-one.
thanks, it seems i had to add each menubar into each footerwidget again.
Its solved
