Widgets ‘Save’ button greyed out

    I am having an issue with many of my WordPress sites. I’m finding that the Widgets ‘Save’ button is greyed out and I can’t make any changes if accessing from Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets. On sites where the Customizer is accessible, there are no problems. I’ve installed a completely new WordPress site, no plugins are running, and I am using the default 2020 theme – also tested with 2016, 2017, 2019. All the same results. I am running PHP 7.3.

    OK, apparently I need a vacation. It’s greyed out until I make an edit, then the Save button works. I thought I had tried to make a change but I guess I was asleep when I tried. 😉
