Width won't change after modifying in css

    WordPress version:

    3.5.1

    Plugin version:

    2.1

    I expected the plugin to do this:

    width would change after changing in css

    Instead it did this:

    width remains unchaged @ 370px

    Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

    All I have attempted to do is modify line 5 of the css to increase the width of the player overall but it will not work for some reason. Forgive me, I am not too savvy when it comes to editing style sheets but I am rather sure I did it correctly. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Also apologies for posting about something that I know has been posted about several times before but I did not have success after reviewing the other posts regarding width.

    Under the HTML5 Player+ tab theres an option for “Player Width”, this is where you should change your width for the player.

    KelvinAlf is correct – you need to adjust the width of the player in the plugin settings as that will override your css.

    I haven’t been able to even find the “plugin settings” where width is an option. Anyone care to share how I can find it? My plugin only has two tabs. Display Settings and Manage Songs. Neither have a width option.

    Ahha sounds like you’re running Free version not Pro…. in Pro there is a function to adjust the width in the Settings but in Free version you’d have to do it in your theme css like so:

    .ttw-music-player {
width: 593px !important;
}

    Note the use of the !important attribute to force the css to overide the plugin css
