    I cannot log into my self-hosted site of the IOS app using my regular home Wifi connection, I have to use an unsecured wifi connection floating around my neighborhood.

    Both my wifi and the unsecured connection are Cimcast/Xfinity.

    I’ve been seeking help from WP support for three days and no one seems to have an answer.

    Have you posted to that app’s dedicated forum?

    These forums aren’t really the best place for the IOS app support, it’s just not something supported here.

    Logic suggests the problem might be related to your local security, and maybe a Support Tech at your ISP might have a thought or two there. Also, the problem might or might not have something to do with xmlrpc:

    I thought I was in the IOS forums. I’m finding this website impossible to navigate. If I click on the wrong thing accidentally, I end up in a place where I can’t make it back. I couldn’t even find a dedicated iOS forum until some one sent me a lnk

    Sigh. I’ll try he iOS forum link.
