Wildcard minify exclusions

    Does WP-Optimize support wildcard or folder exclusions in the Minify settings?

    I have problem files like:

    /wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/dist/Lite/assets/app.50fbca1c.js

    Which look like they will change filename next update.

    How can I reliably exclude CSS/JS files with non-permanent file names, please?

    Hi CJ,

    Thanks for contacting us! I’ve been running some tests and it appears we don’t support wildcard exclusions for the minification rules but folder exclusions are working.

    Can you try adding /wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/dist/Lite/assets/ to the Exclude JavaScript from Processing settings, save and purge your cache to see if it’s working on your site like it is on mine?

    I thought I had tried folder exclusions, unsuccessfully. But let me make sure we are fully up-to-date and I’ll try again.

    You have folder exclusions in the default list, so it should work.
