Will Ajax Search Lite plugin work with PHP 7?

    Had a message in our wordpress admin dashboard that our php is out of date and recommended to upgrade to PHP 7. Installed the PHP Compatibility Checker plugin and it’s identified that the Ajax Search Lite plugin has 8 errors and is therefore not compatible with PHP 7. All our other plugins are supposedly compatible apart from this one. Just wondering if anyone that has this plugin has upgraded to PHP 7 and had any issues? Or if anyone knows of a workaround? Thanks 🙂

    Hi!

    The plugin was tested ona PHP7 environment, and so far I have not noticed any issues 🙂

    One compatibility checker plugin marks it as a false positive. If I recall correctly, it is because of a magic method override from a singleton pattern class, mistakenly confused with something else. I think I have already changed that in the Pro version to avoid confusion, I will make sure to change for the upcoming release for this as well.
