Will all pages cache eventually?

I am working on a friend’s website (ECommerce, with around 1000 products) but the developer didn’t put any thought into the speed of the website.
I’ve set up w3 Total cache which has sped the site up significantly, but as there are about 8 different sitemaps, it appears that you have to visit a page for it to cache.
The site has around 2000 pages, so I have set the pages per interval to 2000 per interval, and to wait a week before creating another set of cached pages.
Do I just have to sit back and wait for all pages to be cached now?
