    Will changing this permalink structure automatically redirect from old to new or should/must code be added to htaccess to ensure it does?

    Current permalink structure:
    /news/%post_id%/%postname%/

    Proposed new permalink structure:
    /%category%/%postname%/

    Hi @gemini23

    Nope, it won’t work. You need to use redirects. I am planning to add this feature in the future version.

    For now, please refer some Redirect Plugin.
