Will this plugin allow page breaks?

    We are a monthly print publication that posts past issues (actually an Issuu embedded link) on our website (WordPress with a Solo Stream-created theme).
    As I keep adding back issues each month, the list is getting longer and longer (and the page is slower and slower to load).
    Will this plugin allow me to place a “Next Page” break in the “text” plugin after the first 6-8 issues?
    I have tried typing <!—nextpage–> into the “text” box that came with WP, but nothing happens.
