I am getting tons of login attempts from mutiple ip address with seconds of each other. I do not have this plugin installed. Will this plugin stop these attempts or just notify me that they are happening? I want a plugin that will stop them.

Also will this work w/ multisite installation? Can I network activate so all site instantly benefit from this plugin or do I need to activate features for each individual site? Thanks

My Brute-Force protection is unique in that it loads before the WordPress bootstrap, so it does not check passwords or send notifications of failed login attempts. My login protection is not designed to stop humans from futile attempt to guess your password. I focus is to detect when a bot is trying to post to your login page and redirect these bots away from your site before WordPress even loads, so that your server is not tasked with checking thousands of attempted passwords against your users table that would otherwise take your server’s resources away from legitimate visitors. There is no way to actually STOP an attempt just as you cannot STOP a sales person from dialing your phone number if they have it. The important thing it to make sure that the call is not answered and ideally that your phone does not even ring so that your attention is not diverted from other more important things.

Yes, it works on multisite too and you can network activate, but you still have to Install the Brute-Force Protection from the Anti-Malware Settings page. Once installed this Brute-Force Protection will be active on all sites.
