The module would need to be updated to work with the new 3D Secure 2 implementation, that it currently doesn’t support – the module currently supports 3D Secure 1.
Internal discussions at Secure Trading are occurring to discuss their schedule in terms of how they are going to manage this with their shopping carts but no decision timeline has been created as of yet.
The PSD2 compliance date has (if you are not aware) been pushed back around 18 months though, please see here for additional information on this delay.

Thanks for the update. We are aware of that statement, however that only means that implementation is not compulsory. Seems it’s up to the individual banks (customers’ banks) whether or not they implement SCA2 starting 14 September, so merchants could be expected to see a rise in declined payments which is more or less severe depending on how many banks implement SCA2 on 14th September. There is no firm information on this, that we can see, but I can tell you that we are migrating clients to systems that can comply, Stripe being the favourite.
