    I have never worked with a CAS server before, but my client has asked for the following:

    Users should be authenticated via CAS / Active Directory. It should check against our school’s CAS to verify/allow creation of a WP account if not already created and, if so, allow them to login.

    It sounds like this is what your plugin does, but since this is new territory for me, I wanted to make sure. Thank you!

    Yes, this plugin should match your needs (I work at a university, and I designed it to those specs).
    Note that most university IT departments will prefer you use CAS over LDAP, since it’s better from a security standpoint (with CAS, your WordPress installation will not be handling plaintext passwords).
