    Hi, I am looking for a plugin that will enable me to have a map on my WordPress site with images/markers clickable to a direct post, ideally the marker is auto-created when i create the post, is this suitable or even possible?

    Scenario:
    I post from my phone a picture and text, I include a tag, category and location info embedded.

    The marker is auto created on a map already created, if i click the marker/image it takes me to relevant post.

    To answer your question, yes MapPress can automatically generate a map from custom field with an address or lat/lng when a post is saved. And it can display a mashup of all of those locations with markers linked to the underlying posts.
