Hi, of course it will allow private groups as well!
Ok it appears your plugin will do general activity OR group create/settings updates. I am wanting to create notifications to private group members, of activity that happened in the private group and have that show up in their notification list or the site-wide activity feed. Public group notifications are already a thing. Friend notifications are a thing from public or private groups. But if you and I are in a private group together, but we are not in each other’s friends list, we should still see notifications of activity inside our shared private group. I already have a live notifications plugin for everything BUT private group activity. I NEED to find something that will alert all members of a private group, if that group’s activity, whether they are friends or not. This seems so hard to find.
Unfortunately, I can’t use this plugin as is.
I guess what I need is a private group activity trigger. So if someone creates a document, creates an activity wall update in the group, comments on an activity update or document, uploads media to the private group, makes someone a moderator in the group, etc.
