  • Plugin Support Frank Remmy (woo-hc)

    (@frankremmy)

Good morning @francomoliello! I can see you’re experiencing a JavaScript error that’s preventing you from editing or creating products. The error “TypeError: window.jQuery is not a function” indicates that jQuery isn’t loading properly on your site.

Since you’ve already tried switching themes and disabling plugins without success, this suggests the issue might be related to how jQuery is being loaded. Here are some additional troubleshooting steps to try:

    • Even if you disabled plugins, some caching or optimization settings might persist. Clear any caches completely and check if you have any server-level caching that needs to be cleared.
    • Some plugins may not appear in the regular plugins list but can interfere. Check the wp-content/mu-plugins folder if you have access via FTP.
    • Since the error originates from WooCommerce admin scripts, manually reinstall WooCommerce to ensure no files are corrupted.
    • Turn on debugging with WP_DEBUG in your wp-config.php to gather more clues, but remember to turn it off after.

If none of that helps, could you please share me a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce → Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support” (after you scroll down a bit)”. Once done, please upload it on pastebin.com and share the link here.

I hope that helps. Let us know if you need anything else.
