Wise Chat Completely Broken

I just downloaded the wise chat plugin and, while it appears in the window it’s suppose to, I can’t use it–and at some points it doesn’t even show me connected to it.
This first picture is my admin account: I’m obviously logged into the website, but it doesn’t register me as being in chat, and there’s no place to type or send a message (I covered up the ads/facebook stuff.
This second one is me logged into a test user account on my website–not a admin but a subscribed, logged-in account. Same problem.
Am I just missing something completely obvious with how to use the plug-in? I have all settings set to least restrictive–I don’t think you technically even need to be logged in to word press to use it.
