    Hi

Am I right in thinking that your nice plugin has a “persistence” feature that works as follows:

    1) NON-MEMBER persistence …

When a non-logged in visitor ends their website visit (closed the browser/tab) but re-visits the website again later, the Wishlist items have been retained/saved/remembered?

    2) MEMBER persistence of the Wishlist when you log in & logout …

When a logged in member logs out of the website but logs back in again later, the Wishlist items have been retained/saved/remembered?

If the above is correct …

    • How long (e.g. number of days) does the above NON-MEMBER persistence last?
    • How long (e.g. number of days) does the above MEMBER persistence last?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi @wpinthai,

I hope you’re doing well, and thank you for reaching out.

    For Non-Members (Not Logged In):
When a visitor who is not logged in leaves the website (e.g., by closing the browser or tab) and returns later, their Wishlist items are still saved.

    • This is because a unique user ID is stored in a browser cookie, and their Wishlist data is saved in the database.
    • The data is retained for 90 days, unless the user manually clears their cookies.

    For Members (Logged In Users):
When a logged-in user logs out and returns later, their Wishlist items are also preserved.

    • The Wishlist data is securely stored in the database and kept permanently, unless the user chooses to delete it.

If you need any further clarification or assistance, feel free to let us know.
