with or without www

    I was using to develop my site app2.zimba.ch. Should i replace those unchanged links in my database with http://www.zimba.ch or just zimba.ch (without the www) ? Txs for your help. Best regards, Ralf

    Hi @rcharaoui,

    Thanks for reaching out! It looks like your query may be down to personal preference.

    However, I checked the current site at http://www.zimba.ch, and it looks like all pages have www in the URL. So perhaps you should use www in the search/replace.

    You can also check the page Settings >> General in your dashboard to confirm if the WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) values have www. If so, you should also use the www version.

    I unfortunately didn’t wait long enough for you answer and used zimba.ch instead. Should i change the wordpress settings in the backoffice?

    Hi @rcharaoui,

    If all your other URLs now do not have the www, but your WordPress settings still have the www, then I think it’s best to update your WordPress URL settings to also not show the www version.

    As always, please backup your site before making any major changes to it.
