It did perfectly what it says it does, in no time.

I have faced a situation, which I will share. I tried to recall a backup to another new WordPress installation (i.e. with a different database name and a different database user). There, I realised that I had to rename the names, in order to agree with the backup’s database and user names. After this, the backup was restored as normally. So, I suggest that you keep the database and the database user names in a record, in any case.
