Won’t geocode when programatically adding bgmp_address

Hi, when I use add_post_meta($post_id, ‘bgmp_address’, ‘42.5020812,-83.3090503788’) to add a marker. The marker doesn’t show up. I get the error “Error geocoding address. Please make sure it’s correct and try again”. But after going to the post and clicking update, the marker shows up.
