Won’t let me import from wordpress.com

    Hi,
    When I upload the xml file from WordPress.com I get the following error:

    Unable to create directory /home/debbiemet/domains/debbiemet.net/public_html/wp-content/uploads/2008/07. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

    I have no passwords set anywhere so do not understand what this can mean. Thank you.

    I rang my site host and got that solved – I neeed to change permissions.

    However not all my blog posts are importing – only about half of them appeared. What can I do about an incomplete import?

    that happened to me – i just kept importing until it was all done…it will give you a “import complete” message or something when it’s done.
