won't re filter

hi, i am using your really nice plugin. see here:
http://orbix.hedgehogworks.net/find-a-surgeon/i created a page template to show a costume post type and on the top of that page i added your filter. when a user usses the filter he is sent to ARCHIVE.PHP to see the resaults. on that page, i re added the shortcode for your filter (so that the user can re filter after he see’s the resaulte).
but re-filtering dosn’t work on the ARCHIVE.PHP…any ideas on how to fix that ?
